Rainbow Brite was a franchise created by Hallmark Cards in 1983. An animated TV series of the franchise first aired in 1984.
The franchise also generated a movie called "Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer" which was released by Warner Bros. Pictures in 1985.
The "Rainbow Brite" franchise was rebooted in the '90s and mid-2000s.
